Fur trim, fur capelets, and even fur gloves have<br />destroyed the beauty of Pam's clothing and have turned her store into a<br />graveyard of dead animals.<br /><br />Wild At Heart is asking Pam to become a compassionate designer and to sign our<br />fur-free pledge. We would like her to pull the fur products from her shelves<br />and swear off using any fur in future collections. It does not take a creative<br />genius to skin an animal alive for fashion!<br /><br />If you wish to take the time to send an email to designer Pam Chorley, letting<br />her know of your opposition to the use of fur in her fashion line, there is a<br />pre-written letter available for you below as well as her email address. If<br />you wish to write your own letter, or personalize the following letter, please<br />feel free, but remember to be polite and courteous.<br /><br /><i>Dear Ms. Chorley,<br /><br />It has come to my attention that Fashion Crimes is selling fur and fur-trimmed<br />products this season. I will not be supporting your business until you remove<br />these products from store shelves.<br /><br />No animal should have to die for human vanity. Fur is a material with a bloody<br />history and the industry has become continuously more brutal as the years go<br />by. Wild-caught animals are left to suffer and die slowly in leghold traps. <br />Fur farms are like jails--dark, dirty, and filled with prisoners in varying<br />degrees of depression, hysteria, and illness. After suffering in these<br />conditions for a year or more, they are unceremoniously ripped from their cages<br />to be anally or vaginally electrocuted, poisoned, drowned, or skinned alive.<br /><br />Your clothing line is beautiful and it is a shame that you have compromised the<br />quality of your clothing by using fur in your designs. Faux fur is an<br />excellent alternative.
